- 1 hour minimum charge on hourly rate work, then in 15 minute units
- EICR - 1 bed flat £180 plus £25 for each additional room
- Payment must be made in full upon receipt of invoice by credit/debit card ) or cash
- Estimates are generally non-chargeable, but some may incur a charge depending on the nature of the work, time, and location.
- Materials are charged at Trade Prices plus a 25% mark up and are subject to VAT
- Invoices are digital (hard copy available upon request £25 per document) and show a full description of works including times and a full breakdown of labour and materials
- Insurance Reports are charged at a nominal £20 which is redeemable against the future work
- We do not surcharge for credit card payments

Testing and upgrading wiring systems
In some situations the reason for an electrical fault can be an issue such as having a dated wiring system (which unfortunately isn’t robust enough to handle the load of modern appliances). Our experienced electricians will carry out a thorough check and provide you with a detailed report. We’ll then provide the appropriate advice on all the options available including an upgrade, or complete rewiring.
Installation of Residual current device (or RCD) for additional safety
Having an RCD installed increased the safety in your home/business and is an effective way to prevent electrical shocks. This efficient device immediately breaks an electrical circuit as soon as someone touches a live wire. If the RCD detects any electricity flowing down an unintentional path (such as a person), the RCD will automatically switch off the circuit quickly; significantly reducing the risk of serious injury or even death. If you already have this device, then it is always important to ensure that that it is in good/correct working order.
